Lead Technician (Mitigation Leader)
The role of the Lead Technician (Mitigation Leader) is essential in evaluating, reporting and documenting key aspects
of mitigation projects. The Mitigation Leader is equipped to run successful mitigation projects. They utilize their
industry experience, knowledge and expertise to guide the homeowner through the process, lead the team and report to
key stakeholders.

- Pay: $26.00–32.00 per hour
This position is essential for the execution of tasks that guide the restoration process, ensuring a positive outcome
for our customers and vendor partners. The Mitigation Leader works closely with the Mitigation and administrative
team; assisting in planning, execution of tasks and adherence to safety and service level standards.
The Mitigation
Leader is the point of contact for the customer, ensuring timely and professional communication throughout the
mitigation phase. The Mitigation leader performs site inspections, directs the mitigation team, and provides timely and professional
reporting to the customer and commercial and insurance partners.
Responsibilities
- Maintain up to date knowledge of IICRC standards for Water Mitigation
- Maintain up to date knowledge of safe work procedures for remediation processes
- Perform Site inspections, completing necessary documentation within timeline guidelines
- Lead the team in establishing a productive pace of work, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and
effectively
- Ensure appropriate use and maintenance of FG equipment and tools
- Ensure the technician team is completing work as per the assigned work order
- Report any potential required changes to work orders to Project Managers
- Ensure photos, notes, and equipment tracking are uploaded daily
- Collaborate with team members in scheduling
- Complete moisture mapping and monitoring as required
- Provide ongoing updates to Project Managers and/or supervisors as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in the restoration industry
- WRT certification required. Other IICRC certifications an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to safely use a variety of power tools and equipment
- Level 2 asbestos certification (BC) an asset
- Class 5 BC driver's license
